Photography Management Pages

Upon installation, Photography Management creates the following new pages via the setup wizard:

  • Client Login – Contains [cc_phmm_portal] shortcode and shows a login form for your clients. You should add this page to your navigation menu, but please notice that the page is not displayed in the menu if you are already logged in.
  • My Galleries – Contains [phmm-client] shortcode and shows the galleries of the logged in client.
  • Single Gallery – Contains [phmm-project] shortcode and shows a single gallery with all its images of a logged in client. This page should not be included in your navigation menu, since Photography Management redirects your clients automatically to this page and it does not contain anything if you visit it directly.
  • Portfolio – Contains [phmm-portfolio] shortcode and shows the cover image of every gallery. If you click on a cover image you will be redirected to the Singel Gallery page.

Tell Photography Management what pages to use

If you set up new pages yourself, or want to change what pages are used for things like the client login or gallery display, you need to tell Photography Management which pages to use. Do not forget to insert the respective shortcodes in the page content.

To tell Photography Management what pages to use go to Photography Management > Settings:

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the Client Login page not in the menu?

Photography Management does not include pages to your menu, but it filters them out if necessary. The Client Login page should not be displayed if the visitor is already logged in. So if you are wondering why the Client Login page is not displayed in the menu make sure that you are not logged in when you visit your site and the page is included in your WordPress menu settings.

Why is the Single Gallery page not in the menu?

Photography Management filters it out of the menu. The Single Gallery page is a placeholder page for all galleries. If you want to see a specific gallery you will be redirected to the Single Gallery page whereas Photography Management dynamically fills the page with the requested gallery content. Therefore it only make sense to visit the Single Gallery page when Photography Management redirects you there. So the page should not be included in the navigation menu for direct access.
